During the common surgery, the anesthesiologist recognized changes in a 2 years old dog“s ECG. They appeared after premedication and the frequency of these abnormalities were 2 per minute. The dog (bohemian wirehaired pointing griffon) was actually treated for cruciate ligament rupture, there were no changes found during the pre-surgical examinations (echocardiography, ECG, routine blood tests). In the anesthesiological protocol methadone 0.7mg/kg, medetomidine 0.01mg/kg, propofol and sevoflurane were used.
